Travis, Whitney, and Kenzie's Fund
Donation protected
As most of you know my Husband's Brother (Travis Just) and his Wife (Whitney Just) just welcomed little KENZIE GRACE JUST into this world on Nov. 16, 2015.
Travis and Whitney were here in Virginia on vacation when Little KENZIE decided she wanted to be born here in Virginia. Home for the Just family is Anchorage, Alaska so KENZIE, Travis and Whitney are about 4,400 miles away in VCU Health Hospital (MCV) in Richmond, VA. Kenzie was born at 26 weeks, weighing 2.5 lbs and 14 inches and is in the NICU unit. Kenzie is doing GREAT and is growing daily but is facing a long battle to reach traveling weight and healthy enough to make the journey back home to Alaska.
Travis and Whitney also face this long battle of waiting and preparing KENZIE for the trip home. No one knows yet how long this may take but nearest guess is sometime around February 2016. That's a long time to be in hospital and 4,400 miles away from home.
So we are asking for donations to help with cost of :
Staying in Richmond for extended period of time (up to 3 months), room and board, meals, gas, clothing, everyday needs. Remembering that they had packed for 2 week vacation and are 4,400 miles from home so kind of hard to jump in car and go home and pick up what is needed. Also with KENZIE here so early they have not had any Baby Showers so they really don't have anything at all for baby. Being 4,400 miles from home having a baby shower here in Virginia would not be best as they would have to get everything home to Alaska. So some of the donated money will help them get stocked with baby items once they get home.
Travis is struggling with having to maybe go home to Alaska and go back to work to have some money coming in , but if we can raise some money he may able to not have to make this decision until KENZIE is much stronger and well on her way to getting healthy. Again he can't just jump in car and go to work and drive back to be with KENZIE and Whitney. Kind of sad being this far from home, but Travis has Family and Friends here in Virginia that are helping and we can get this family of three back to Alaska soon.
Any donation that you can give will be so much appreciated .... would mean the world to Travis and Whitney. They would be the last people to ask for help but there comes times in our lives where good friends and family stepping in to help is needed. KENZIE is strong and with the good Lords help will grow stronger each and every day.
Again any donation will be much appreciated and would help lighten the stress for Travis and Whitney. Also I ask that if you may ask a prayer daily for little KENZIE that our Lord will continue to bless her and this family each and every day.
THANK YOU !!!!!!!!
