My name is Ryan Baker. I'm one of Jess Noble's friends and work colleagues. On Sunday 8/13/23, Jess was hit by a driver while traveling to a job site in Iowa. The driver crossed the center grass median, broke through the cable barrier, and struck the front driver's side of the vehicle. Jess had to be extricated from the vehicle by bystanders. She was then flown via helicopter to a hospital in downtown Des Moines. She underwent emergency surgery to place a stabilizing rod in her right leg. She also had a fracture to the left arm that had to be reduced and temporarily splinted. She underwent surgery for this injury on 8/14/23. She is stable and resting comfortably and back to her ornery self. The purpose of these funds will be for her to supplement any and all care that she may need that insurance may not cover. We want to get her home as soon as possible and make sure that she can afford full care once she is home in Kansas City.
