Team Gina
October 21st 2011 changed our lives forever. That was the day our mom, Gina, learned she had stage IV breast cancer with a prognosis of two weeks to live. Her strength, determination and faith gave her the ability to live life and experience things the doctors never thought possible. In those four years she had the opportunity to witness the birth of two beautiful grandchilden, her daughter purchasing her first home, and her son graduating from high school as well as memorable birthdays and holidays.
Gina has been undergoing chemotherapy treatments, radiaton therapy and various surgeries that have afforded her a lingering quality of life. She is now at a point where all medical options have been exhausted. Gina is left dealing with the ugliness and reality of the disease state which has taken away her ability to walk and take care of herself.
As a result of this news our family is seeking funds for Gina's constant and continuous care, which is both extensive and overwhelming in psychological and financial burdens. Our primary focus is and will continue to be on keeping her in good comfort and surrounding her with unconditional love, as she most definitly deserves in her final stages of life.
