I’m Jade and I am hoping to raise money on Mariah’s behalf to help her throughout her fight against Stage 3 Cervical Cancer. Only a few weeks ago, Mariah was seen for a regular annual check-up with her OBGYN. After one look, the doctor immediately knew something was wrong and referred Mariah to an oncologist within a week. After meeting with the oncologist, multiple tests, and surgery, it was found that Mariah does indeed have cervical cancer. Most cervical cancer can be caught and treated quickly and easily, but unfortunately this is not the case for Mariah. The cancer has already spread to various structures around the cervix and into the lymph nodes of her abdomen. Beginning in about two weeks, Mariah will begin daily radiation treatments (about 45 miles one way from her home) and weekly chemotherapy treatments as well. Though we know how much amazing support Mariah has in her family and friends, I am hoping to raise some money to offset the gas and medical bills as she begins this journey.
