Hey everyone,
Some people know Candace, and some people don’t. For those of you who do, you know how great this woman is and how stubborn she can be at times, especially when it comes to asking for help. For those of you who don’t know this amazing woman let me be the first to tell you how great she is. She has spent the past 7 years working as a Domestic Victims Advocate helping out people in bad situations. She has always been an active part of the community in helping out with charity events and fundraiser functions. She has five, yes 5!, beautiful children that are just as amazing as her, but right now they need your help.
About a year ago Candace was diagnosed with stage four METS breast cancer. She has tried many different forms of treatment, went through almost countless surgeries and procedures, and spent days the hospital. This past week she has underwent yet another surgery. This one was a mastectomy :(. She has just been released from the hospital under the care of a home nurse. She is under a 24 hour IV infusion at home and is still scheduled for chemo treatments for the next 6 months. Time is now of the essence.
Needless to say, from everything that happened in the past year has left her unable to work and the government issued insurance doesn’t cover everything she needs for treatments or her past surgeries. This is where we come in. It is our time to help out this ‘superwoman’ in her endeavors to make sure that her treatments continue and her quality of life continues to be great. It doesn’t matter if it is one dollar or a hundred, any and all help is welcome. Thank each and every one of you, and together we can kick cancers A$$!!!
