Hello
My name is Jill Wright. Welcome to my go fund me page!
Following two previous sell out concerts in February 2023 / 2024, I am organising a further ‘Songs I’ll Never Sing' charity concert to be held on Sunday 27th April 2025 at the beautiful St Paul’s Church (aka Actors’ Church) in Covent Garden, London.
It will bring together a host of West End musical theatre performers who will sing the songs that they would not normally be able to sing due to their age, race, gender or casting: a classic Broadway ‘miscast’.
These charity concerts were initially the creation of my son, Harry, a musical theatre performer himself, who passed away in 2019 from a brain tumour. They have since become his legacy.
It will be performed in celebration of Harry and all monies raised will be split equally between The Brain Tumour Charity and Chickenshed.
If you would like a ticket for the concert, please follow the link below:
If you are unable to make it but would like to make a donation and help us raise much-needed funds for our chosen charities, then please donate below.
All donations are greatly appreciated and no amount is too small.
Thank you so much

Why are my chosen charities so important?
The Brain Tumour Charity funds research. They fund the highest-quality research around the world to create new knowledge, accelerate new treatments, translate breakthroughs into benefits for patients, and enhance quality of life.
* They’ve committed nearly £50 million to cutting-edge research to date and they’re not slowing down! Their strategy pledges to commit at least £50 million from 2023-2030, creating a platform for much-needed investment into the best, most pioneering research.
* They give support and drive the best lifelong care. They are a listening ear at the end of the phone, a benefits service giving tailored advice, a community of others affected who understand. They are all of these things and more.
* They help those affected get the specialised support and information they need, when they need it and they work to ensure they can access the very best care, wherever they are in the UK.
* They campaign and raise awareness. They’re raising their voices for change, connecting and collaborating across the UK to amplify awareness of brain tumours and be activists for progress.
Their open letter to Government calling for a National Brain Tumour Strategy, to help improve research, treatment, care and diagnosis for people affected by a brain tumour, got more than 50,000 signatures in just six weeks!
Chickenshed are striving towards a truly inclusive society that enables everyone to flourish.
* Whether it’s producing thought-provoking inspirational theatre, delivering education programmes, working with their Young Company, or engaging with communities through their outreach work, Chickenshed are changing hearts and minds and creating a better world for us all to live in.
* As a registered charity, Chickenshed need to raise over £3 million a year. They earn £1.4 million through ticket sales, education fees, membership fees and payment for delivering projects (which they keep to an affordable rate so everyone can access their work). However, the remaining £1.6 million needs to be raised through fundraising.
