Father of 2 Paralyzed PLEASE HELP
Donation protected
On August 31st, 2018, a compassionate and hard-working husband and father of two young daughters was injured after a 20ft fall from a ladder. Chad suffered an incomplete spinal injury which has left him in the ICU with the inability to move many of his extremities, though he is gradually regaining some feeling and movement, it will be a long road to recovery.
His injury required surgery and he needs rehabilitation as soon as possible for the best chances to regain use of his arms and legs. We have been unable to find a rehab facility that will take him as charity or any funding to help. As we all know, costs don’t stop mounting up just because we get hurt; in fact, they increase.
Chad was the primary source of income for their family of four, and now he is unable to work, and Tara is juggling being by his side or at home with their daughters. It breaks my heart that I can’t be there right now to help, and unfortunately he has no Insurance and has not been approved for Medicaid! So, I am asking for any thoughts, prayers, and donations that anyone can graciously give. In situations like this, every penny counts.
My Brother Chad and Tara made a decision to leave their home and families in Michigan to pursue better opportunity and stability for themselves and two young daughters in Texas. They moved to Dickinson Tx in 2013. Since the move, Chad has started working as a paint and remodeling contractor. Over the past three years they have started developing their own contracting business and Chad was doing well providing for his family.
During Hurricane Harvey, their community and many others were devistated ,they saw a great need for help. They instantly began reaching out to neighbors and to any neighboring communities that they could safely reach to help residents with food, water and supplies. Once the storms had passed and waters began to recede, Chad and Tara, helped rebuild homes in their community
