Donation protected
On February 23, Orica Chico, Texas employees Ken Benes and Pat Campbell were seriously injured in an auto accident while at work. Pat suffered several broken ribs, a broken pelvis, an open fracture to his femur in several places, a broken knee cap as well as abrasions, cuts and stitches. Ken suffered a broken right femur, 2 broken hips and a broken right arm. Both gentlemen will be out of work for a while as they heal from their injuries.
We are setting up fundraisers for both Ken and Pat; this page is for Pat. Please help us to ease the financial burden that Pat and his family will face during this time by considering a donation that will directly benefit their family.
We want him to heal quickly and feel better soon! Thank you for helping Pat with your generosity.
Here's a note from Pat's wife:
On February 23, 2016 at 11:11 I received a call from my husband that no wife wants to hear. He was in a serious accident. He left me a voice mail to inform me of the accident and that he was hurt bad. He served as a volunteer fireman for 20 years as the one pulling out the victims not being one. He said he has a new respect for our fireman and paramedics. He is a father of 3 wonderful children and a uncle and great uncle. Our lives have forever been changed in just a few minutes. He has several broken ribs, broken pelvic, open fracture to his femur in several places, broken knee cap as well as abrasions cuts and stiches. We have a long road ahead of us but a host full of family and friends to see us through. We like to thank everyone for the prayers, calls and thoughts that we have received through this hard time.
