This urgent matter concerns an Israeli boy who finds himself against all odds.
Growing up, his family has always known extreme financial hardship. Additionally, he had many other struggles in his youth. A few months ago, Eliezer Samet finally found his Bashert, and is looking forward to move on to a brighter future.
His Kallah, unfortunately, comes from an extremely poor home too. Her parents don’t have an extra dollar to marry her off.
So Eliezer took it upon himself to pay for the entire wedding, taking on the expenses of both sides so that they can go ahead with the wedding.
A week after Rosh Hashanah, his father came to America to try and raise funds for his son’s wedding which will take place on March 17 iy”h. Unfortunately, his wife fell on Simchas Torah, and was hospitalized for six weeks, not letting her go back to her job after yom tov. Eliezer’s father had no other choice but to take the funds he had raised and use it for his wife’s therapy so that she should be able to walk again.
Seeing the dire situation, and the wedding date getting closer, Eliezer took matters into his own hands and came to America to raise funds for his wedding. He is already here for four weeks and has barely managed to collect $4,000, far from the $40,000 he needs to cover all his expenses.
Eliezer has no connections to any of the big askanim and he finds himself without a clue as to how he will be able to go under the chuppah. I therefore ask you, Please help this Chussen who desperately wants a chance at happiness! His wedding date is fast approaching and so are all the big expenses he has to cover himself.
