Angela has touched so many of our lives as a friend, a teacher, an actress, and an all-around amazing person. You all know how uplifting she is when you are around her and how you end up leaving her presence feeling renewed and happy. She has been a light in so many lives and it is time for us to give back to her.
Angela is a friend to anyone and everyone. She is an inspiring teacher that helps you reach your potential. She is a hilarious and dramatic actress that everyone loves to work with. There is no way that you have spent time with Angela and not fallen in love with her smile, laugh, and positive personality.
Treatment Plan
Because of Covid 19, Angela had to start with Chemo treatments before she could have surgery. She has already gone through several treatments and her surgery is scheduled for late October. The surgery will not be easy or pleasant in any way and will take a good amount of time to heal.
The really hard part of all of this (besides having cancer) is because of her compromised immune system and Covid 19, she cannot go back to teaching for an entire year. Yes, she has to stay inside her house, except for doctor appointments, and recuperate for an entire year. If she were to catch Covid 19, it would deadly for her.
Medical Expenses
So far Angela has spent over $10,000 on medical expenses. And yes, that is with insurance. She still has her surgery and any other chemo or radiation treatments after her surgery to go.
Living Expenses
Because she cannot go back into the classroom, she also needs to find a way to live for a year without any income. I am so so so hoping that we can pull through for her and relieve the stress of wondering how she is going to financial survive the next year.
When it Rains in Pours - Literally!
So if things could not be any worse, she also found out a couple of weeks ago that the condo she owns and her car both have black mold! Her kitchen has been leaking for a few years due to rain and the complex/owner above her has never fixed it correctly while her car was flooded right after her diagnoses and Covid, so she never drove it to see the mold growing in the backseat.
She now needs to relocate while they tear down and build her a new kitchen and she needs a new car. Guys, we have to help her out right now.
