Hello friends, I am writing to you right now because I really need help. My name is Raul Maximiliano Faya Traverso, I am a 37-year-old Peruvian and I have been diagnosed with chemotherapy-resistant Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

My treatment began at the end of August 2020. At first I received chemotherapy through blood transfusion in order to remove the diseased cells from the blood. However this did not give the expected results. The doctors then told me to do a bone marrow transplant in the hospital. Unfortunately this was impossible because I did not have siblings from my father and mother who could make the donation. Furthermore, in Peru they only perform family related transplants. Bone marrow transplants from unrelated family members are only performed abroad.

While doing the search for marrow donors abroad that would be compatible with me, I managed to find 3 candidates in Europe. Although the characteristics of their bone marrow is partially the same as mine, I consulted with my doctor and other oncologist specialists, and they all agreed that transplantation can be performed with these donors.

Then I found a hospital in Mexico that can perform this operation, but it costs $75,000. That is why now I turn to you in order to receive assistance in getting this transplant. 

I am an engineer and I run a company that does maintenance services for homes and companies, but due to this COVID-19 services for my company fell drastically. There were months that there was absolutely no work and because of my illness I simply could not continue doing my day to day duties for my role. Due to my disease, I can only be at home without being able to have contact with people, even my own family.  

I am currently undergoing a second stage of chemotherapy treatments and taking specialized drugs that only keep my state of health partially stable apart from these diseased leukemia cells, but these drugs are very expensive and they are running out. The only way to have a new chance at life is only with this bone marrow transplant before the end of May.

My goal is to reopen my company, and to give people in my country the opportunity to work as well. I also have more entrepreneurial projects that would generate more jobs, now that jobs in my country are scarce due to the pandemic. The leukemia cancer that I have is temporary and will not stop me and I know that with your support, not only will I overcome this, but also help the people around me. Any donation, any amount counts. 

Also, to clarify I know it states Diana as the beneficiary but that is only because I (Raul) live in Peru and the beneficiary has to be under a bank account of someone from the United States.

Hola amigos, les escribo en este momento porque realmente necesito ayuda.

Mi nombre es Raul Maximiliano Faya Traverso, soy peruano de 37 años y me han diagnosticado con Leucemia Mieloide Aguda resistente a las quimioterapias.

El tratamiento lo inicie a fines de agosto del 2020 y necesite en una primera etapa de la aplicación de quimioterapia por transfusión sanguínea para remover las células enfermas de la sangre, sin embargo, esto no dio los resultados esperados en dos momentos distintos que son la inducción y luego la re-inducción. Entonces los médicos me indicaron hacer un trasplante de médula ósea en el hospital, lamentablemente esto era imposible por no tener hermanos de padre y madre que pudieran realizar la donación, y a esto se suma que en Perú solo realizan el trasplante emparentado. Las operaciones de médula no emparentada se realizan en el extranjero y para eso se requiere de un donante de médula ósea.

Haciendo la búsqueda de donantes de médula en el extranjero que coincidan sus parámetros con los míos, logre encontrar a 3 candidatos en Europa y aunque las características de la médula son parcialmente iguales a la mía, yo consulte con mi doctor y otros especialistas oncólogos, indicando que el trasplante se puede realizar con estos donantes.

Luego encontré un hospital en México que puede realizar esta operación, pero para eso necesito 75000 dólares que pueda cubrir este trasplante.

Es por eso que ahora recurro a su espíritu solidario para que me puedan ayudar a conseguir este monto.

Yo soy ingeniero y dirijo una empresa que hace servicios de mantenimiento para el hogar y empresas, pero debido a esta pandemia del COVID 19 los servicios cayeron drásticamente incluso habían meses que no habían trabajo y por mi enfermedad simplemente ya no pude continuar realizando mis actividades, y eso empeoro mi situación bancaria y crediticia por todas las deudas que acumule para mantener a flote mi empresa. Por ahora solo puedo estar en casa sin poder tener contacto con las personas, incluso sin poder ver siquiera a mi propia familia, por el riesgo que tiene mi delicada enfermedad de infectarme ante cualquier virus o bacteria fuera del riesgo de contagio del COVID 19.

Actualmente estoy siguiendo una segunda etapa de tratamientos de quimioterapia y tomando unos fármacos especializados que solo mantiene mi estado de salud al margen de estas células enfermas de la leucemia, pero estos fármacos son muy caros y se están agotando y la única manera de tener una nueva oportunidad de vida es solo con este trasplante de médula hasta fines de mayo.

Mi objetivo es reabrir mi empresa, y no solo por el hecho de abrirlo, sino para dar oportunidad a que las personas también puedan trabajar. Además, tengo más proyectos de emprendimiento que generaría que más puestos laborales, ahora que la actualidad nacional se ve cada vez más difícil. Yo estoy pensando la manera en que pueda ayudar a la gente, y no es otra más que dando trabajo. El cáncer de leucemia que tengo es temporal y no me detendrá y sé que con su apoyo no solamente saldré adelante yo, sino las personas que están detrás de mí.

También deseo aclarar que el sistema de Gofoundme indica que la beneficiaria es Diana. Esto es porque yo vivo en Perú y la cuenta de banco donde se depositará su donación debe ser de una persona que vive en Estados Unidos. Por ello mi estimada amiga Diana está prestándome su número de cuenta bancaria para este objetivo.

Mеня зовут Рауль Максимилиано Файя Траверсо, я перуанец, мне 37 лет, и мне был поставлен диагноз- острый миелолейкоз, устойчивый к химиотерапии.

Я начал лечение в конце августа 2020 года, и на начальном этапе прошёл курс химиотерапии и переливания крови с целью уничтожения раковых клеток, но лечение не дало ожидаемого результата. Вскоре врачи назначили пересадку костного мозга, к сожалению, у меня нет родственников, которые могли бы стать донорами, а в Перу разрешены операции по пересадке лишь родственного костного мозга. Операции по пересадке неродственного костного мозга проводятся за границей с участием донора.

После поиска доноров костного мозга за границей, я нашёл трёх кандидатов из Европы, и хотя параметры их костного мозга лишь частично совпадают с моими, мой врач и другие специалисты-онкологи утверждают, что мне показана эта операция.

Я также нашёл больницу в Мексике, где меня могут прооперировать, и для этого необходима сумма в 75000 долларов.

Я очень прошу вас посодействовать мне в сборе этой суммы.

Я инженер по специальности и руковожу компанией по уборке помещений, к сожалению, во время пандемии, заказы значительно упали, из-за болезни я не мог продолжать работать, что сильно пошатнуло мое финансовое положение, из-за долгов, которые накопились, пока моя компания пыталась держаться на плаву. На сегодняшний момент из-за моего состояния я нахожусь дома и не могу видеться даже с самыми близкими, из-за риска заражения любыми инфекционными заболеваниями.

Я нахожусь на втором этапе курса химиотерапии, принимаю специальные поддерживающие препараты, которые дорогостоящи и почти закончились, поэтому мой единственный шанс - операция по пересадке костного мозга, которую нужно сделать до конца мая 2021 года.

Я планирую вновь открыть свою компанию, чтобы дать возможность другим людям работать. У меня много бизнес- проектов, которые позволят создать рабочие места в сложном экономическом климате Перу. Лейкоз, которым я болен сейчас- временное явление, и он меня не остановит, и я уверен, что с вашей помощью встану на ноги не только я , но и люди, которые от меня зависят.

Ciao amici, vi scrivo proprio ora perché ho davvero bisogno di aiuto.

Mi chiamo Raul Maximiliano Faya Traverso, sono un peruviano di 37 anni e mi è stata diagnosticata la leucemia mieloide acuta resistente alla chemioterapia.

Il trattamento è iniziato alla fine di agosto 2020 e in una prima fase dell'applicazione della chemioterapia mediante trasfusione di sangue necessaria per rimuovere le cellule malate dal sangue, tuttavia, questo non ha dato i risultati attesi in due momenti diversi che sono l'induzione e poi reinduzione. Poi i medici mi hanno detto di fare un trapianto di midollo osseo in ospedale, purtroppo questo era impossibile perché non avevo fratelli di padre e madre che potessero fare la donazione, ea questo si aggiunge che in Perù si esegue solo il relativo trapianto . Le operazioni midollari non correlate vengono eseguite all'estero ed è necessario un donatore di midollo osseo.

Facendo la ricerca di donatori di midollo all'estero che corrispondono ai loro parametri con i miei, sono riuscito a trovare 3 candidati in Europa e sebbene le caratteristiche del midollo siano in parte uguali alle mie, mi sono consultato con il mio medico e altri specialisti oncologi, indicando che il trapianto può essere eseguito con questi donatori.

Poi ho trovato un ospedale in Messico che può eseguire questa operazione, ma per questo ho bisogno di $ 75.000 che possano coprire questo trapianto.

Ecco perché ora mi rivolgo al tuo spirito di solidarietà in modo che tu possa aiutarmi a ottenere questo importo.

Per ora posso solo stare a casa senza poter avere contatti con le persone, anche senza nemmeno poter vedere la mia famiglia, per il rischio che la mia delicata malattia ha di infettarmi con qualsiasi virus o batterio al di fuori del rischio contagio di COVID 19.

Attualmente sto subendo una seconda fase di trattamenti chemioterapici e assumo farmaci specializzati che mantengono solo il mio stato di salute separato da queste cellule leucemiche malate, ma questi farmaci sono molto costosi e si stanno esaurendo e l'unico modo per avere una nuova possibilità di vita è solo con questo trapianto di midollo osseo fino alla fine di maggio.

Il mio obiettivo è riaprire la mia azienda, e non solo per il fatto di aprirla, ma anche per dare alle persone la possibilità di lavorare. Inoltre, ho più progetti di imprenditorialità che genererebbero più posti di lavoro, ora che le notizie nazionali sono sempre più difficili. Penso al modo in cui posso aiutare le persone, e non è altro che dare lavoro. Il cancro della leucemia che ho è temporaneo e non mi fermerà e so che con il tuo sostegno non solo andrò avanti, ma anche le persone dietro di me.

Ci tengo inoltre a precisare che il sistema Gofoundme indica che la beneficiaria è Diana. Questo perché vivo in Perù e il conto bancario su cui verrà depositata la tua donazione deve provenire da una persona che vive negli Stati Uniti.
