Kevin Carpenter Memorial Expenses

After a day of being surrounded by friends and family, Kevin Carpenter passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of March 29, 2025, while I read him one of his favorite works, “Goodnight Moon.”

He approached death with the same humor, curiosity, and straightforwardness that defined his life, and he brought a lot of joy and laughter to every caregiver and medical provider who worked with him. The last time he played the piano was in the MD Anderson foyer, barely able to sit up but determined as hell to play that baby grand for the other people suffering there with him.

He was, in all things, a stunning and wonderful, strange and beautiful person, and he will be fiercely missed by everyone who knew him.
