Help Our Family After the Loss of Two Loved Ones

In March, our family experienced two heartbreaking losses. My mother lost both her adopted son, Greyson and her husband, Albert within the same month. The emotional and financial impact has been overwhelming. It has been a hard adjustment.

As she navigates grief, she is also trying to stay financially stable while waiting for survivor benefits, retirement payments, and Social Security to begin. During this transition period, everyday expenses such as housing, utilities, food, transportation, and memorial costs have become difficult to manage alone.

At the same time, my children took unpaid time away from work to help support our family during these losses. Because they had no available leave, they are now struggling to catch up on rent, bills, and other monthly payments.

We are asking for help to give our family some stability during this incredibly difficult season. Donations will help cover:

Household bills and living expenses

Funeral and memorial-related costs

Transportation and daily necessities

Support while waiting for retirement and Social Security benefits to begin. We will also be taking my father and Brother to Nome and Teller for funeral services and burial.
