W&T: Running for a Cure
Tax deductible
Hello! We are Weronika and Tyler, and we will be participating in the Run for Gus 2025.
Weronika is a childhood cancer survivor, and Tyler watched someone close to him — his neighbor and dear friend — lose their battle with cancer. We’ve both seen firsthand the devastating impact cancer has on children and their families, and we carry those experiences with us in every step we take. That’s why we’re proud to be W&T: Running for a Cure — running not just for ourselves, but for the kids still fighting, the families still hoping, and the futures that deserve to be saved. We’re raising funds for Lurie Children’s Hospital because we believe every child should have a chance to grow up, dream big, and live fully. Your support helps provide life-saving care, groundbreaking research, and hope where it’s needed most. Join us in making a difference. Whether you donate, share our story, or cheer us on, you’re helping turn miles into miracles.
As a nonprofit hospital, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago depends on donations to provide a healthier future for every child. Your gifts can help fuel life-saving research, comfort kids during challenging procedures, and provide access to world-class care for families in need. I hope you can help us reach our goal in support of the patients and families at Lurie Children’s.
Here’s how your donations can make a difference:
$100 is enough to help make a child’s hospital stay a more positive experience with activities, supplies, and toys.
$250 can provide patients with the support they need to thrive after lengthy hospital stays.
$500 supports clinical trials to help discover new or more effective treatment options.
$1000 means we can train the next generation of specialists.
Thank you for your support!
