Support Zachary's Journey to Recovery

Zachary has unfortunately experienced a severe accident that resulted in breaking his tibia and fibula in both legs. The surgery was a success and resulted in the placement of rods but the recovery process will be a lengthy, strenuous process for quite some time. His determination and positive outlook have kept him motivated throughout his physical and occupational therapy. This has been quite difficult for him being out of state as he is on the Autism spectrum and this has upended the daily routines in a familiar setting that give him the structure to thrive. It was an exceptionally traumatic experience for Zach as he has expressed both physical and financial worries and the burden this may cause for others.

We have comforted him in knowing all those who have reached out, visited him and sent him gifts. He is looking forwards to spreading the joy and love he has brought to so many that are fortunate enough to meet him.

However, his recovery will require moving out of the hospital where he was receiving exceptional rehab within those facilities. (Where he quickly became a favorite patient!)

This move will require transportation, in-home adjustments and in-home visits for both physical and occupational therapy. Insurance will only cover a portion of accruing bills and expenses that he will need to complete this journey.

Zachary's family is kindly asking for donations to help with these costs and assure he has everything needed for a successful, speedy recovery.
