Angie’s Fight For Her Life.

We are starting this GoFund me page for a very dear friend, Angela “Angie” Brooks. About a year ago, trying to better herself and to stay healthier for her two boys, Hayden and Cameron, and for smoking for over 10 years, she thought switching to vaping would be a better way to quit all together. Unbeknownst to her that would be when all the problems would start. Around February 2020 she started going into the doctors for various health reasons not knowing that it would all boil back down to vaping. The day of October 16th things took a turn for the worst and what would forever change her life. After running numerous tests and x-rays, and ruling out COVID-19 doctors came to the conclusion that she had to be admitted right away. At that time the best route for her was a medically induced coma to try and give her body the time needed to hopefully rebuild itself. After two weeks, on Halloween she was pulled out of the coma. Things looked good at first, but as the hours passed  that would unfortunately change. Doctors quickly intubated again. While intubated they were able to scope her lungs in an attempt to determine precisely why she is making such a slow and problematic recovery. Unfortunately, they determined that she has severe vape induced scarring in her lungs, Stage Four Pulmonary Fibrosis. As you all know Angie has always had a will to fight and fighting for her life right now, for the soul purpose of raising her two little boys on her own, as a single mother will be the biggest fight of her life.
Now with the holidays approaching fast, and the doctors bills already stacking up faster than we could count, with also a Lung Transplant almost necessary in the near future, Angie being out of work for her long term recovery this will go a very long way for her and her boys.
