WSTCYS -Supporting young people in our communities
The overall aim of Waterford and South Tipperary Community Youth Service is to assist the positive, personal, social, spiritual and educational development of young people in particular those experiencing disadvantage and social exclusion; to enable them to make active choices and decisions, to exercise responsibility and to contribute to the development of their community, environment and society.
We offer a wide range of services in Waterford city, Waterford County and South Tipp including:
Community Youth Projects
Drugs Projects
Early School Leavers Projects
Youth Justice Projects
All workers are working online during these hard times and the Community Youth Workers have come together to organise a step challenge to have fun, get active, get communities involved and hopefully raise some funds for our youth projects to continue to support young people in our communities. This challenge involves our young people, volunteers and workers stepping it up and coming together virtually to see how many times we can get around Ireland. This is also promoting the well being of all involved and keeping everyone active during these hard times.
The support of the public would mean the world to us as workers and to our young people who will benefit greatly. We hope you can donate and help us to continue to support our young people, who have been hit hard in this pandemic.
Thank You,
The community youth workers at WSTCYS
