A Heartfelt Request: Help Us Get Back on the Road

Hi friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

I’ve always been someone who prefers to give help rather than ask for it, so this is a really difficult thing for me to do. But right now, my family and I find ourselves in a situation where we need a little extra support, and I’m reaching out because I just don’t know where else to turn.

My van and I have been through so much together. It’s been with me for years, carrying me and my family through the ups and downs of daily life, and it’s been a crucial part of my work. I bought it back in 2018 when it had 129,000 miles. Today, as I write this, it’s at 242,000 miles, and after countless memories, it’s sadly reached the point where it’s no longer safe or reliable.

The hardest part is that due to negative equity on the van and a less-than-ideal credit situation, I can’t trade it in for a new vehicle. My van has always been there for me, and now I need to make sure I can continue to support my family and my business. This vehicle is not just a car—it’s a way for me to provide for the people I love.

That’s why I’m turning to you, and humbly asking for help. My goal is to raise $9,000 to eliminate the negative equity and give me the chance to put a down payment on a new, reliable vehicle. It feels a little overwhelming, but I believe in the kindness of people, and I know every little bit can make a huge difference.
