Project Alajuelita - Costa Rica

As new nurses we are excited to be planning a mission trip to San Jose, Costa Rica, to help give care to Nicaraguan immigrants and Costa Ricans who do not have proper healthcare available to them. We will be volunteering with FIMRC ( www.FIMRC.org ) in various ways including, but not limited to, working in their clinics, providing health education to children and mothers, assisting with psychological services and helping at the local soup kitchen. Funds raised will go directly towards the cost of flight and participation costs due to FIMRC for housing and food they provide during our stay. If any funds are left over we will be using them towards medical supplies in which we will bring with us to the clinic. We hope that you can help us make this the most positive and rewarding trip for not only is but the families we encounter!
