WSNC Activist Tommy Priest

My friend and fellow local business person, Tommy Priest, fell prey to a sophisticated scamming operation that posed as Duke Energy and threatened to turn off the power to the local business he owns on Reynolda Road called Coffee Park. Tommy has been the owner of Coffee Park Airstream for nearly a decade and has a reputation for not only serving killer coffee to the locals but he has also selflessly led the way on countless community service projects related to the neighboring Children's Home among many other endeavors. He faithfully employs several people as barristas at two locations in WSNC including the newer joint on Spruce Street in the Arts Council building despite the numerous economic ups and downs. Just a few years back he was named among the top 5 local activists by the W-S Journal for his involvement in bringing awareness to local causes. I am honored to know Tommy and am proud to call this guy a trusted friend. To know him is to know what a scuffling, independent and honorable local entrepreneur is. As tempted as I am to write a check for the entire amount of the scam as a debt of gratitude for what he's done for me over the years I thought it would be better if the local WSNC community teamed up to say thanks and help him out in his time of need. Any amount towards the $1,000 goal is HUMBLY appreciated.
Another way to help is spread the word to coffee aficionados near and far to flood both of his outlets: Coffee Park Airstream (Reynolda Rd) and Coffee Park Arts (Spruce St) with orders.
Thanks in advance!
