Hi my name is Katie and I’m fundraising for a very close friend of mine who suddenly lost her husband on Friday he had been poorly with a brain tumour for 8 years he had 5 operations in this time but unfortunately couldn’t remove the full tumour. He’s been bed bound for over a year and lived at home & needed his wife (jens) full care. They was both hard workers Martin an engineer and Jen a nhs mental health nurse for over 20 years. Jen has lost so much in the last 12 months her mum past away in December 2024 and her dad 3 months later and she cared for both of them also. Not very much long after that Martin became very poorly with his tumour. So she’s been off work for a while to care for the people she loves. She also has an 11 year old son who’s severely autistic and none verbal who needs all her attention and energy and quite frankly don’t know how she does it just carried on through all the heartbreak with her parents passing to then being a full time carer for her husband. She also has a 13 year old daughter who’s an absolute credit to her. So this is just some funds to help with funeral expenses and if possible to get them away for a little break to help take there mind of losing there dad. I can’t think of anyone who would deserve this more than them. They would literally do anything for anyone & have hearts of gold. So any little help will help. Thank you so much for reading xx
