Every weekend, children across America start a 68-hour countdown from their last school meal, until their next school meal - often without a single meal in between. We're going to do our part to ensure some kids get fed in the coming months. Won't you help?
There’s a story behind every contribution to Jordan Education Foundation. (Jordan Education Foundation is classified as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization). Jordan Education Foundation has fed the hungry, brought warmth to cold children, provided eyeglasses so that students can see the whiteboard, awarded more outstanding educators and employees than ever before, provided Christmas for deserving children, offered thousands in student scholarships and brought over 200 classroom dreams to life.
The Principal Pantries program is funded by the Jordan Education Foundation. Food pantries are housed in local elementary schools and are accessible to school children that have qualified for the free or reduced-lunch program. These children may also have little or no food available at home; after school, on weekends or during school breaks. School children may "shop" the pantries and take food home for themselves and their families in small book bags or backpacks. These bags have been provided by local companies, like Western States Lodging & Management and other generous donors, so that children might avoid any embarrassment that may come after visiting the Principal Pantries or carrying food items home from school.
Please consider a donation. Every dollar counts. Every cent matters. Here is what your donation can do. Your $15 donation could buy a Nutri-Grain cereal bar for 48 children. Your $10.00 donation could buy Kraft Macaroni & Cheese dinner for 20 children. Your $5.00 donation could buy a package of fruit snacks for 25 children. Your $1.00 donation could buy a "book bag" and dignity for a hungry child.
