Our dear friend Karen was diagnosed with Stage 3B cervical cancer 4 months ago. Karen has been undergoing intense weekly Chemo and daily Radiotherapy for the last 4 weeks. It has been an extremely challenging, painful and distressing time for Karen and her family. 

Karen has one more week intense treatment before she has to be admitted to hospital for two weeks to undergo high dose rate Brachytherapy. 

She has been unwell and unable to work since January and will not be able to work in the foreseeable future.

As we all know, Karen is extremely proud and doesn’t ask anyone for anything. 

As friends, if you are able to donate a small amount to support Karen and her family to enable them to pay for utility bills - we know what a huge difference it would make to her and her family at this difficult time.
