WSHS Special Olympics & Buddies Club

Isabel Pope is a sophomore at West Springfield High School (WSHS) and the daughter of alumni Henry Pope ('86) and Jennifer (Shepherd) Pope ('87).  Isabel is working hard to raise money for the first Unified Special Olympics team at WSHS and the WSHS Buddies Club.  The Special Olympics team competes locally in track & field and basketball. The Buddies Club brings together the West Springfield High School community with monthly themed events culminating in the annual Buddies Prom.  These inclusive clubs give Isabel a chance to represent her school and interact with friends and peers. WSHS Special Olympics and Buddies Club make an enormous impact on the West Springfield High School Community and operate solely on donations. Go Spartans!
