Rice appeal for Karen refugees

I am reaching out to all of my friends and customers for help with the internally displaced Karen people in Myanmar.
The villages where I send rice to annually have been cruelly affected and are running for their lives. These are friends and family of people I know. The situation has become very dire and it is absolutley heart breaking.
Currently there are many villages in Karen state in Myanmar being bombed by government military air strikes. This includes schools. Over the past few days there have been so many innocent people killed and thousands of others have been fleeing for their lives to the jungle. They are completely helpless and have no food, no shelter, no medical care or protection. Around 3000 people can not return to their community because of fear. They have also been turned away from the Thailand border. The majority of Thai people are friendly to all ethnic Myanmar people and disagree and have deep regret with the Thai army's actions in turning refugees back. They have nowhere to go.
I would like to raise as many funds as possible to purchase rice, clothing and blankets for my friends. I have people I can trust who will make sure every cent raised is spent on this. $5 will feed a family for a week. $15 will feed a family for a month. We as a global community have the power to come together and help.
I will also be donating a percentage of my business sales to this worthy cause.
