Dear friends and family:
As most of you know, our daughter, Andrea Franceschi, was involved in a terrible accident this past November 2024. This accident left her with severe brain damage, which greatly affected her cognitive and physical abilities. She was in the hospital from November 11, 2024 until January 31, 2025. Unfortunately, Andrea was uninsured at the time of the accident and was denied entrance in the rehabilitation center here in Atlanta. She came home in January 31, 2025. Our home is a three-bedroom home with no bedrooms on the main level. Andrea is bed-bound and can only be moved in a wheelchair. She is currently sleeping in our home office, which used to be the dining room. There is barely any space to move around her in order to provide care and physical therapies. The equipment to move her occupies a lot of space. Her belongings are all over our house, the front porch, and even our neighbor’s shed. My husband, Jean Franceschi, and I, Laura Acevedo, are conducting this fundraiser in order to add a bedroom and a bathroom that are wheelchair accessible in as little time as possible. We had reached our original goal of $50,000, but the project will cost close to $70,000. The contractor is trying to get materials’ donations, which will help get this number down. If you live in the Atlanta Metro area and have a construction supply business or know someone who does, contact us. We will put them in contact with our contractor for any possible donations and/or discounts. Andrea will need assistance for a very long time, maybe forever. She deserves to have a room of her own where she can house her belongings and have adequate space to receive her medical care. We thank all the people who have already donated and shared this fundraiser from the bottom of our hearts. Please continue to pray for her recovery and share this fundraiser with as many people as you can. GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS!
