"If you do enough small things right, big things can happen." -- John Wooden

The
ASA Milan Black Hawks
have been accepted into the 2015 Disney International Cup. This is an elite, international tournament for exceptional teams from across the US and internationally with demonstrated success at the highest level of youth soccer. Participation in this tournament will give the Black Hawks an opportunity to play against international teams from Brazil, Ecuador and other countries -- their first exposure to international play -- and to showcase player talent to collegiate and international scouts.
Who are the Black Hawks?
In the arena of elite youth sports, the
ASA Black Hawks stand out
, rising from the ranks of recreational leagues by staying together and staying committed.
The team was formed to allow talented but under-priviledged players the opportunity to pursue athletic development at the highest level of youth soccer. With this, the Black Hawks were born.
Through the years, the Black Hawks have steadily pursued their goals, consistently improving and advancing the skills and opportunities for their players.
The results speak for themselves:
- A team formed from recreational players, rose to be nationally ranked.
- Ranked #1 in Maryland for two years in a row
- Ranked #4 nationally
- Winners of the 2014 USL Super Y National Champions
This success on the field was in service to a larger goal: to provide a path to college or professional ranks for their players.
- over 90% of the players that came through the Black Hawks program are attending or committed to college through soccer.

The team needs your help. Each player must raise $300 to cover their expenses to the tournament. Any contribution is welcome. We are asking individuals who are passionate about soccer, about developing youth soccer in America, and about supporting under privileged kids to participate in these programs to consider becoming a Black Hawks Ambassador with a $100 contribution. The support of 50 Ambassadors will achieve this goal and cap a successful four years of hard work with this final tournament play.
Please consider making this contribution. Any proceeds raised in excess of the $5000 goal will be donated to support youth soccer programs for under priviledged youth.
