Derrick Carr age 34 An a African American was beaten and wrongfully arrested on June 1st 2020 By the 11th district Chicago Police Department he is a single parent of 3 kids who he is raising on his own they are currently in the care of his mother who is currently sick and can not care for the kids like he can.He was on his way home when a officer decided to ram they vehicle into the back of his vehicle guessing this was they way of pulling him over so yes he pulled over and was asked to step out of the car in the process of trying to take the seatbelt off they busted out the window snatched open the door and pulled him out and began punching him in the face and calling him out of his name and began to say stop resisting but he wasn’t they then threw him on the ground and stomped him in his face Leaving him with bruises all over his body bust open his right eyebrow and breaking a bone in his left eye socket all while he was in handcuffs and they kept yelling stop resisting by that time he was unconscious when he had awoken he was at mount Sinai hospital where then he began questioning the nurse what was going on with him that’s when another officer had told the nurse to not inform him what was going on so once stitched up they then took him to the 11th district where they denied him his one phone call we are now trying to raise money for his bond which is 250,000 (25,000) to come home the judge is trying to rule in favor of the cpd which is not right in no shape form or fashion they not giving him the proper treatment and on top of that in they report they even admitted that over a dozen of officers beat him and that’s not right what ever happened to protect and serve. As you can see he is still in custody fighting for his freedom and health they not giving him the proper treatment he needs and now it might become a problem that he will lose his eyesight in his left eye please help an innocent man free so he can get back home to his babies and his mother and get to a real hospital for treatment any donation will do thanks in advance
