Hello! My name is Marlene Donohue and my partner Claudia Guerra and I are raising money for our dog Rocky to have surgery to remove a tumor from his spleen. Our dogs Rocky and Chip are our world and this has been a whirlwind and taken us by surprise and shock at the expense of treatment. We would do anything for our babies and his surgery is estimated to be anywhere between 5,500 to 8,000. We have noticed the last few weeks that he has not been acting like his usual self, eating less, and has overall low energy. Last night he had a bad seizure that continued on until this morning, we took him into an emergency vet and they did bloodwork and ultrasounds to find the tumor on his spleen and because of this, he was also quite anemic. The emergency vet bill was $950 and everything is adding up fast, we just want to do the most for our baby and have him in the best care. Anything helps, thank you so much.
