Some of the people reading about this story (they actually have arrested the thieves) have asked me to start a campaign. Why?
I am a 60 year old woman who just just working full time to support my family. My sister has severe multiple sclerosis and is in a nursing home. I am raising her two sons both who have autism. I am also caring for my 89 year old mother.
The only way I am able to get the boys to school and get to BART was with my 2004 Honda Element which my sister’s husband gave me before he died of colon cancer. This best up
car was and is my lifeline. Then these people decided one day to steal my catalytic converter so they could get $100.
I cannot afford ford to replace mine and I don’t have comprehensive insurance as the car is so old.
My family doesn’t deserve this. We have gone through hell and back and need this car to survive. My job does not pay that well. These kids deserve better. They list their dad and to all purposes their mother and I am all they got.
