Hello everyone its Fulton Singleton! If I could take a minute of your time I would greatly appreciate it. I started this account to try and help one of my best friends Derek Van Buren get to see the Grateful Dead this July 4th weekend in Chicago. This is the GD farewell tour and I want to help him see the Dead one last time. He is the biggest fan I know ,and this experience would do wonders for him. Derek was diagnosed with Huntington's disease in his late teens. He has been living with this burden for the last 20 years. Detoriating mental and physical health and even eye cancer are just some of the obstacles that he has overcome in these past 20 years. Yet he keeps on fighting goes to work every day and keeps on fighting! Huntington's disease  is  an inherited condition in which nerve cells in the brain break down over time. The brain deteriorates and there is no cure. This is a inherited disease that unfortunatly has affected many and taken some of Derek's family members already. Basically I'm trying to give Derek a lifetime experience that he will never forget. I'm determined to make this happen and I'm asking for help. I have already attempted to get tickets through every channel and unfortunatly the only tickets available are on third person party sites and the prices to these three shows are jacked up. Throw on the price of travel, hotels and per diem and this dream is slipping further from reality. So I decided to turn to all of you kind people out there.
