Support Amanda's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Hi everyone my name is Amanda I'm 38 years old I'm a single mom to three amazing teenagers. I have a 14-year-old and a 15 year old and a 17 year old they are busy bodies they're always on the go they are active in sports, doing great in school and they are my everything, my world what keeps me going every single day. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and when I got the news it took me a minute to process it everything going through my mind, like how was I going to take care of my kids who depend on me for everything. When I got this news in my head I just thought about how I needed to be strong for them. I wanted to make sure they felt reassured and supported, even in the face of this challenge. It was overwhelming at first, and I had so many questions—about treatment, about how my life would change, and most importantly, how it would affect my kids.

I remember trying to explain what was going on in a way they could understand. I wanted them to know that while this was serious, I was going to fight with everything I had. I told them that I might have to take some time for doctor’s appointments and treatments, but that I would always be there for them, cheering them on in their activities and supporting them in school.

The first few days after my diagnosis were tough. I felt a mix of fear, anger, and sadness. But I quickly realized that I had to channel those feelings into something positive. I started to gather information about my diagnosis, treatment options, and ways to stay healthy. I reached out to friends and family for support.

Through all of this, I’ve learned the importance of self-care and allowing myself to feel vulnerable. I also discovered how strong my kids are. They stepped up in ways I didn’t expect, helping around the house and checking in on me. We’ve had some deep conversations, and it has brought us closer together as a family.

I know this journey won’t be easy, but I’m determined to face it head-on. I want to set an example for my kids about resilience and the power of community. I’m taking it one day at a time, focusing on the little moments that make life beautiful. I’m grateful for the love and support I have, and I’m ready to fight for my health and family.

Any donations received will go directly towards our essential bills and necessities to ensure that I can provide for my children. Your generosity, no matter how small, makes a significant difference in our lives, and I am truly grateful for every bit of help we receive.

Thank you! God bless!❤️
