❤️ Help Don Wright Through His Fight — Cancer Messed With the Wright One!

If you know Don Wright, you know asking for help isn't easy. But right now, Don is facing something much bigger than he can handle alone, and we're asking our friends, family, and community to rally around him.

Don has an all-day surgery coming up that his doctors have told him is extremely important to his health and his fight against cancer. Before he can have the surgery, his doctors want him to complete approximately two months of hyperbaric oxygen therapy at Baptist Hospital.

This means traveling back and forth to the hospital and spending about two hours each day inside a pressurized hyperbaric chamber, breathing 100% oxygen. His doctors feel these treatments are very important in preparing his body for the surgery and helping give him the best possible chance for healing afterward.

Unfortunately, getting the treatment is only part of the battle.

Don is on a fixed income, and the repeated trips to Baptist Hospital are expected to cost approximately $600–$700 every month in gas alone. That's before considering the other expenses that come along with treatment, surgery, recovery, and simply trying to keep everyday bills paid while fighting cancer.

Don told us something that really put everything into perspective:

“I'm not exaggerating. My life depends on this surgery. Please help me if you can.”

So that's exactly what we're going to do. ❤️

We're starting this GoFundMe to help take some of the financial pressure off Don so that his focus can be where it belongs — getting his treatments, making it through surgery, healing, and getting back to the people who love him.

Money raised will help with gas and transportation to his daily treatments, medical-related expenses, surgery and recovery costs, and other necessities that arise during his treatment.

If you're able to donate, no amount is too small. Five dollars, ten dollars, twenty dollars — it all adds up, and every bit of it helps get Don another mile down the road toward the treatment he needs.
