What can't be said about Alexis? Anyone who has met her knows she is a wonderful and caring mother, daughter, sister, friend, and follower of Christ. Alexis' smile has been contagious, and moments in life have been filled with laughter, music, and dancing. She is and was a role model to many, a mentor to others, and a driven professional in her field.

-Alexis received her MBA from the University of Georgia Terry College of Business in 2007.
-Alexis' favorite color is burgundy.
-A passionate (and some would say obnoxious) Aggie, Alexis graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with her undergraduate degree.
-Alexis believed in creating memories and making experiences.
-An avid beach lover, one of her favorite activities is to "lay like broccoli" on vacation.
-Alexis is a proud mother of 2 children, always pushing education and supporting their various endeavors and dreams.
-Alexis loves listening to Frankie Beverly and Maze. The number of concerts attended throughout her life is currently unknown. : )
-A successful business woman, Alexis worked approximately 20 years for Turner Broadcasting in various capacities.
-As a believer of giving back and serving, she served on a number of boards and committees throughout the years.
-Alexis loves God, was actively involved in her church, and sang in her church choir.
In 2015, Alexis was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's at the age of 52. Her mother has overseen Alexis' daily care for the past couple years, and very recently, Alexis moved into an assisted living and memory care facility. As the disease progresses, the financial cost of the disease, such as medical bills, daily living costs, and housing, has become overwhelmingly stressful. Her family is reaching out to the many who love and care for Alexis, who would love to help but don't know how, and who are moved by her story, as a petition to walk along side her in the battle.
