Help With Paying for College
Donation protected
I am a Sophomore studying Biochemistry at Christian Brothers University (CBU). Although I have enjoyed being at college, it has not been easy. I began the first semester of my Freshman year in 2017 just a month after I severed two fingertips of my right hand while mowing a neighbor's yard. Over the two years since then, I have recovered, studied, and become involved in many student organizations. I am a member of the CBU Honors Program and Tri-Beta (the Biology club), the President of SMACS (the Chemistry club), and the President of the Catholic Student Association. Much of my time is devoted to Campus Ministry, where I help lead Christian retreats and build up the faith and community of my peers. At the end of my Freshman year, I was given CBU's Outstanding New Student Award in recognition of my involvement in campus life. However, keeping up my grades is a high priority for me. If I am not participating in an event for one of these organizations, I am studying.
My goal is to one day attend medical school!
As far as paying for tuition goes, my scholarships and loans have been very helpful. Still, I am about $3,200 short of covering the bill. In addition to the $3,200, I will need about $200 for textbooks.
Thank you so much for your help! I really do appreciate it and hope that God will bless you abundantly!
