There is no easy way to start this, so let’s just dive in.... My name is Mitch and OUR beautiful, wonderful Linda was just diagnosed with stage three ovarian cancer. This is extremely devastating to not only us, but to the entire family!

She is one of the healthiest people I know and lives a very healthy lifestyle, yet cancer found a way...

As of today, all we know is that the cancer was in her ovaries, colon, stomach lining, and some lymph nodes.

The only way for us to find this out for sure was thru surgery. CT and MRI verified there were multiple masses.

It started with a couple small incisions, but the microscopes saw more masses than previously discovered. The surgeons were required to make a larger cut to see what all was going on.

During this inspection and eventual surgical procedure they were forced to remove part of her colon, appendix, ovaries, uterus, and well basically a full hysterectomy. The section of colon and ovaries were collected for biopsy.

We are going to have to wait about 5 weeks before we can start any chemotherapy and/or radiation.

AND... This is where we could use your help... without a doubt, there will be some financial set backs with regards to medical care and us both not being able to work. I will have to cut back work in order to help in the recovery process. Should you feel inclined to help us out, we would be greatly honored and appreciative!
