Writing Worship Community Album Release

In early May 2023, 100+ worship leaders and songwriters gathered in Franklin, TN for a writing camp and live recording. Over the course of two days and 15 hours of worship, we captured 14 incredible songs and nearly as many spontaneous worship moments. The songs were all written and led by our incredible Writing Worship Community including dozens of denominations, backgrounds, and six decades of worship writers! These are songs for the Church, by the Church!

The worship times were so sacred as the Lord led us deeper and deeper into His heart and unforgettable moments in His presence. People reported feeling God's love in more tangible ways than they ever had, inner healing, personal and communal revival, unity as the Body, and a heightened sense of Kingdom purpose.

But above all, Jesus was worshiped!

Despite the good and bad, the triumph and heartache, the breakthrough and longing that were being experienced, we met with Jesus in a life-altering way. Our hope is that through these recordings and videos, the world can experience the presence and love of Jesus that we did in that room in early May. Something amazing happens when we not only champion the kingdom of God but also one another.

After praying, dreaming, and discussing with several folks who attended the event, we've been encouraged to raise funds among the community to release the music sooner than later. Between mixing, mastering, video edits, and marketing the costs are considerable. But we've seen the Lord's mighty hand all over this project already, and we believe these costs are just a drop in the bucket for Him. We trust that the Lord who brought the vision will also bring the provision!

We wanted to invite the community into every step of the process from the very beginning. From song submissions to the song selection process, publishing, production, and now release and marking, we wanted the community to be involved in every step.

With no pressure at all, we're inviting the community to give toward the costs of releasing these songs + videos.

We cannot wait to bless the Lord and bless the earth with these moments!

Our God-dream goal is to raise $27k, which would enable us to release all the songs and their videos, along with several notable spontaneous moments captured, and have some funds left to market the music to reach more people.

We've broken the project down into smaller options, and we'll release the songs more slowly if budget dictates. But we're believing that God's favor that accompanied the recording process will also cover the release process!
