A little context on the film. It's an intimate story about Walter, a retired author who has recently lost his wife. He displays a collection of novels outside his brownstone stoop until one day he notices a woman has been leaving him notes on her favorite passages of those books. They form a friendship through literature and it helps Walter overcome his grieving loneliness.

 

Doesn't that warm your heart? It sure does for me.
