Where it all began:

When I was four, my grandmother Neomi taught me piano.

Her world was joy, curiosity, music, and yes, chocolate.

I loved going to her house, sometimes for the chocolate bar she’d sneak me (even when my mom protested), but mostly because that’s where music first felt magical.

She taught me on colorful lead sheets:

Do was blue. Re was yellow. Mi was red. Fa was green. Sol was purple.

That’s how I first saw music, as color, feeling, life.

And that’s what this album will be, a world of color and feeling for everyone who listens.

I’ve fought hard to make it this far.

I built my path to America from love and resilience.

I earned my artist visa, I’m here legally, ready to work, ready to give everything.

But now, to make this album truly what it deserves to be, I need you.
