Wrigley's Chemo Treatment
Donation protected
We all know Diana. She's the constant smiling face at CrossFit Closer, during her classes at GoodLife, and everywhere else you run into her.
If you know Diana well enough, you would know that she's been through hell and back since May 2021. Yet, somehow still keeps that big smile on her face, and offers a helping hand to anyone who needs it.
If you know Diana whatsoever, you'd also know how big of a dog lover she is. She's been fostering, rescuing, and babysitting dogs for years, and has been a huge donor for Sit With Me rescue in particular where she has rescued several dogs from.
As things were finally starting to settle in her personal life, her little boy Wrigley was diagnosed with large cell stage 3 lymphoma.
This is the breaking point for her. She's having an extremely tough time coming to terms with the news, rightfully so, as Wrigley has been her rock these last 18 months especially.
One person can only handle so much grief, and for it to now include one of her furbaby's longevity is truly taking its toll.
Wrigley is only 4 years old and is the stud on the right in the picture. His big bro on the left is Zeke.
Wrig the king of kiss attacks out of absolutely nowhere.
He is the sweetest little boy, even when he runs away after deer for hours on end.
Zeke loves to wrestle with him on the daily.
Wiggles has so many fur cousins and friends who love him dearly.
He brings a huge smile to everyone's face with his calm demeanour.
Diana can't picture life without her two boys beside her every night.
They're truly what got her through the major struggles she has already gone through personally.
She's giving him every fighting chance he can have.
Including beginning chemotherapy and having him treated under the watchful eye of very skilled and recognized veterinarians.
This treatment of course comes with a hefty price tag that Diana would never ask for help with.
As one of her close friends, and knowing how much her recent turn of events has cost her these past 18 months already, she is struggling for funds to care for Wiggles.
Diana has been at the forefront of helping so many of us with our own dogs; whether it be introducing us to a dog that we adopt, being the first to be called when we have a scare or any general questions, she's always there.
Outside of the dog world, Diana would drop anything she's doing to help a friend out. She has donated to so many of these on behalf of others and is the most reliable person in many of our lives.
It's time for the helper, to take our help.
Let's give Diana the peace of mind that she deserves after such a terrible 18 months she was put through at no fault of her own, and now having to be strong for her furbaby going through chemo.
Anything you can donate helps, as we all know the price tag cancer brings, especially in our furfriends.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
