Hi, I'm Wrigley's proud papa. Wrigley is 9 years old, but he is our baby boy. Recently Wrigley has been experiencing balance problems and lethargy. So, we had to take him in for an MRI. The MRI revealed Wrigley has a solitary mass--a tumor known as a meningioma--that appears to be causing significant compression and inflammation of the right brainstem and cerebellum. Given the location of the tumor, surgery is not an option. However, the doctors do believe that Wrigley would be a very good candidate for radiation therapy. The goal of the therapy would be to shrink the mass as much as possible. This wouldn't be a cure, but this could potentially extend Wrigley's life by a couple of years. The cost of the radiation therapy treatment would be about $12,000 to $15,000. Without this treatment the doctors believe Wrigley has a few weeks to a few months. So we're asking for your help.
