Wright Twins

Hi My name is David Bosarge. My daughter Hillary Wright had identical twin boys on March 16, 2023. They were born at 23 weeks. My daughter went into early labor 5 days before the delivery and the doctors did everything they could to slow or stop her labor but unfortunately could not. During her stay at the hospital for pre-term labor she had a pulmonary embolism. The doctors said she was very close to coding. She had emergency surgery to remove the massive blood clots she had in her lungs all while still having contractions. She was put into ICU after the surgery and unfortunately could not recieve the medications to stop/slow the labor during her stay in the ICU. Once she was out of ICU her labor progressed quickly and the doctors were very worried about her being on blood thinners for the blood clots and having an emergency c-section. There was also a risk during a vaginal delivery that she would hemorrhage. Amazingly she gave birth naturally ,despite the babies being 23 weeks and breech, and her and the babies survived. The babies were of course taken straight to the NICU in the small baby unit and placed on ventilators. They are fighters and are already beating the odds. Hillary has miraculously recovered well and is expected to be discharged within the next couple of days.

The boys have a long road ahead of them. Going by rule of thumb for premies, the boys could be there until early July. There will be many expenses with having to back and forth to the hospital to see them and the care that they may require once coming home. Anything will help and be greatly appreciated. If you can't give just pray for the boys as they fight through this.
