Support Katlyn's New Career and Family
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My name is Katlyn, and I’m reaching out for support during an incredibly difficult transition in my life.
Two months ago, the roofing company I was working for unexpectedly let me go. Since then, I’ve been working hard to pivot into a new career as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), which allows me to help children with autism and other developmental needs — something I’m truly passionate about.
While I’m now technically employed, I’ve been in the unpaid training and certification phase of the job. I’ve completed the required 40-hour training course and passed my competency assessment. My final certification exam is at the end of this month. Once I pass, I’ll be able to start working and earning again.
Unfortunately, with no income during this transition, I’ve fallen behind on all of my bills — rent, utilities, and basic necessities for myself and my kids. I’ve been doing everything I can to stay afloat, but I’ve reached a point where I need to ask for help. I have completely depleted all my savings just to get by during this time.
Any donation — no matter how small — would mean the world to me right now. It’s not easy for me to ask, but I believe in the path I’m on and I’m so close to getting there.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can offer. Whether it’s a donation or a share, it all makes a difference.
With love and gratitude,
Katlyn
