Hello, my name is Ashley Hancock. I am currently a nursing student at Vincennes University. An amazing opportunity has arisen for me to participate in an upcoming Nurses on a Mission trip to the Dominican Republic in 2023.

To make this journey possible, the Foundation for Peace joined together with Nurses on a Mission to assist other nurses and doctors in providing medical care to the people of Santo Domingo who attend our free clinic. Many of these people lack access to regular medical care or do not have the financial means to pay for treatment and transportation. 

As a full-time student and single mother, I cannot afford to to attend this mission trip without donations. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help me reach my goal and allow me to help others while gaining valuable experience. The trip cost, in total, is $2,100, which does not include the cost of my passport or necessary COVID tests before departure and before returning to the USA.
