Hello all! as some of you already know, my name is Wren! I am a 30 year old professional dog walker. I love being outside and active, spending time with my friends and loved ones, and also cuddling on the couch with my pets.

Unfortunately, two days before my 30th birthday, I rolled my ankle and ended up tearing the ligaments, so I was put on a two week leave from work to rest it.

I just had my follow up appointment with my PCP, who has since ordered that I spend another two weeks off of my feet to ensure I heal properly. Since I work on my feet for a living, this means I will be unable to work for a total of a month. this, as we know, is not good in today's economical climate.

my partner is still able to work, and has been, but we are unsure just how badly this will effect our finances. All we know is it won't be good. Our parents have helped as much as they can, which we appreciate very much! Unfortunately, we still need some assistance.

we have three beautiful cats who are our children, Miles, Lola, and Kismet. we live in an apartment I've been renting since early 2019 that I am terrified to lose, as if that happens, we will have nowhere to go. my inability to work is terrifying. we're genuinely facing the chance of true homelessness.

anything helps!! we are looking to cover our bills and expenses for at least the month i have been out of work, including rent, utilities, and food. anything we make over our goal will be applied to the following months needs.
