With all of the emotions and everything Delaney and Carl are going through right now, we want to try and take the financial pressure away. With Wrenley being in Sick Kids for 6 months, there is a lot of travel, appointments, parking and household bills that still need covered.

On August 25th, Delaney and Carl took Wrenley into the emergency room a week after being sent home by the walk in clinic with a “virus”. Something told them that things weren’t quite right, so they decided to have her checked again, this time at the Lindsay Hospital instead. What they thought was going to be an in and out situation with possibly a diagnosis of strep or another simple bacterial infection. A short time later the doctor came in and explained that yes, Wrenley has strep throat but she also has the absolute unthinkable as a parent. Our sweet sweet Wrenley girl was suspected to have Leukaemia with a white blood cell count of 204. Soon after, they were rushed to SickKids where almost right away it was confirmed to us by a team of Oncologists that our sweet, sweet, fiery, beautiful little soul Wrenley somehow has the unimaginable - Leukaemia.
August 26th: Day #1 of their six month journey at Sick Kids, they received an exact diagnosis of AML (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia). Wrenley received her first course of chemo. There are lots of optimistic doctors that have high hopes for her recovery and potentially to be able to cure this for her. It’s going to be a long, challenging road.
"If we know anything, however, it’s that our little girl is extremely brave and the best little fighter we know. We are confident that with prayers, positive vibes, an amazing family and friend support system and above all the most amazing team of doctors surrounding her - she will get through this. ♥️"
