Will’s Journey
On July 3, 2022, my brother-in-law, William Passmore, went to the ER in respiratory distress. He quickly declined and was admitted to the ICU and placed on a ventilator. He has been on a ventilator for four days and he is suffering from kidney damage, as well. Will went through a similar health crisis in 2018 and spent two weeks on ECMO and many months in the hospital . Through the prayers of God’s people and God’s amazing power, he was restored. He has been able to serve the Lord the last four years through many difficult days and battling multiple health problems. “Bro. Will”, as he is known by many, has been a pastor for over 35 years. His congregation at Little River Country Church has been a blessing in his family’s life and faithfully supported him for the past 9 years. He has a heart for people and his calling to God’s ministry has never wavered, even through many difficult days.
At this time, there is much uncertainty as to what the future holds. God has a plan and Paula and the family are seeking God’s strength and guidance. My sister, Paula, is an RN at the Temple VA Medical Center and is at his side, as she has been, for almost 40 years. Unfortunately, Paula has exhausted her leave at work and will have to take leave without pay as Will’s journey continues. Medical bills are already stacking up, as well the expenses of having a loved one in the hospital long-term. This fundraiser is being set up to assist them through this time and during future expenses that may arise. Our family seeks your prayers more than anything. Will is a faithful husband, loving father, and he has served others with a Pastor’s heart. Thank you for your prayers and support.
