Jimmy’s love for his family was fierce, unconditional, and lifelong. The support and kindness shown to them during this time will never be forgotten.

James “Jimmy” Cushing, a loving husband, devoted father, and truly one-of-a-kind person, passed away suddenly and tragically on March 7, 2026, at the age of 47, after suffering a sudden massive heart attack that his girls were not prepared for. His loss has left a space in the hearts of everyone who knew him, but especially in the lives of his wife, Megan, and his two daughters, Brynn and Bria, who were the center of his entire world.

Jimmy was the kind of person who would do anything for the people he loved. He worked hard, showed up for everyone, and found joy in the simple things—family time, beach days, grilling dinner, and making people laugh. But above all else, he loved being a dad. His girls were the light in his life, and everything he did was for them.

Jimmy was also the greatest support to his wife, Megan, who has a hearing impairment. He guided her, stood beside her through everything, and helped their daughters learn from a very young age how to communicate with their mum so their family could always stay closely connected. The love and teamwork between them made their home full of warmth, laughter, and understanding.

Jimmy’s passing was sudden and heartbreaking. It was NOT his time. He had so much more life, love, and guidance to give to the people who needed him most—especially his girls, who are now facing life without their dad and struggling to navigate a world that changed far too quickly.

Any contribution will help ease the financial burdens ahead and allow them the space to grieve, heal, and move forward while holding onto the love and memories Jimmy gave them every single day. This will help with his funeral, hospital bills, and helping Megan and the girls financially. ❤️
