Hi, all. This is Tammy WRKD713. Earlier today our friend, Mike WQXG583, suffered a total loss fire to his home and all of his possessions. The good news is that he made it out ok and not injured! Mike, 70 and blind, has been a longtime GMRS operator on the Joliet and Grundy repeaters and a ham operator, KC9LGE. He's now homeless without insurance and at a loss for what to do. He's a good, good guy! I'm just trying to put this out there to help him get set up again. Thanks, everyone.
