On March, 17th my sister in-law Becky had a routine colonoscopy. During the procedure, the doctor found a mass in her colon which turned out to be Stage 4 Colon cancer. As of today, the cancer has spread to her lungs, bone (T1 vertebrae) and most recently her liver. The cancer in her liver is VERY aggressive.

With her next round of chemo treatments needing to be inpatient and closely monitored, together as a family, Becky, my brother, Elliott, and my 3 nephews have made the difficult decision that it is time for her to take a leave of absence from work so she can focus her time on continuing her fight, healing, and spending time with her beautiful family.

With taking a leave of absence, it now brings a new challenge of only having one income. I’m hoping to raise money for them to help with things like bills, medical expenses, and other various things.

Pending approval from Becky’s medical team, a previously planned and prepaid family trip will still take place in February, as canceling would not recover the costs and the time together as a family is very meaningful during this difficult season. That said, ALL funds raised here will be dedicated SOLELY to essential needs such as medical expenses, household bills, and daily living expenses while work is on hold.
